# Teams

The primary reason to create a team is if you want to build an [Automation](https://help.daisychain.app/en/articles/6960491-automations) that distributes an [Assignment](https://help.daisychain.app/en/articles/6970551-assignments) randomly to people on a given team. For example, you could create a team of five "Donor Organizers", and create an automation is triggered when people contribute more than $100, and distributes assignments of these donors in a round-robin style to members of the team.

To create a new team, navigate to **Settings > Teams**.

You can create as many teams as you want, and it's easy to add/remove members of the team after it's been created.
